The Trouble has begun

I know I already posted today - and I only get to post about once a month (great track record for blogging). Anyway this just happened today and it was too cute to not share. It all began when I went to change Reesie's diaper and came back to this.

Look Mom I found where you put the toys - now I can get them myself - I 've just got to tip the basket over.

So I put down Rees to go and get my camera to take the picture - then Benson notices - Hey mom whats that you have there.

Give me the camera - I'm coming to get you.

Meanwhile....... I turn around to this

What, I'm innocent

O.K. maybe not

This is delicious!

It just makes me smile though - although I'm sure it won't always. This is going to get complicated -isn't it.

Lots of 1st's

O.k. people don't normally take "Thanksgiving pictures", but since it's the boy's first Thanksgiving I just had to. Thanks to our awsome niece Lauren for taking our pics.

Can you see Rees' two little bottome teeth? You have to look closely, but they're there.

Finally a smile was caught on camera :) I don't know what it is about taking pictures that makes them look in awe instead of smiling.

We stayed "home" for Thanksgiving - as you all know that means Lloyd and Judy had Thanksgiving at their house. It was quite the crowd and loads of fun. It involved the TN Smith clan including the cousins here and from SC as well as my brother Todd, Heather and Fam from GA. I was able to do just a little part of making the stuffing and Rees made some chocolate pies. The babies went down for a nap just before we ate - so they missed the big dinner. I was thinking how sad that they missed getting some mashed potatoes, but I guess it allowed Rees and I to have dinner without interuption. I just love this time of the year! I am greatful for the great family we have surrounding us! Not only are they very supporting in every way, but they are fun to hang out with!
We took my brother's family up to Cades Cove and Gatlinburg the next day. All the Christmas lights were up and it felt like the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season. I'm definately in the mood for Christmas now. If I could just figure out how to do my Christmas shopping with the twins between their two naps - looks like online shopping is the winner!
